We need to continue to be Bereans, reading the Bible to make sure we are following biblical teachers so we aren’t let astray. We are the church. God doesn’t want it to be corrupted by false doctrine. He wants it to be holy. Acts 2:42 says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Such devotion will protect us and ensure that we are on the path Jesus set for us. The book of Colossians says to let the Word richly dwell in you. When you do that, you will recognize false teaching.
